This course redesign will enhance student learning in MTRL 251 by involving students in the refinement of course content; in the development of AI-enabled interactive objects to help explain abstract concepts; and in the development of a question bank.

Arts

Our project is based on the partnership of the instructor and two former students in the course as we apply our respective learning-, disciplinary-, and cultural expertise to help refine the course, empower future student-driven learning, and foster diversity and inclusivity.

Pharmaceutical Sciences

The goal of this project is to make the changes to the Respirology Module curriculum, to ensure that graduates of the E2P PharmD program will be well equipped to make positive changes towards an environmentally sustainable healthcare system while still providing optimal care to their patients.

Arts

This project includes revision of course topics to integrate Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI), scaffolding assessment tasks, and incorporating diverse voices.

Arts

Our partnership will give Indigenous students a pivotal role in creating the new curricula of ASTU 100 and 101. We want these new courses not only to align with Workday, but also meet the ISP goal of Indigenizing these courses’ curriculum, and further align ASTU 100/101 with the goals of the new “Place and Power” breadth requirement in the Faculty of Arts.

The goal of this project is to focus on “collaborative leadership,” redesign the IPC project activities to better align with the six competency domains in CIHC, and create assessment rubrics for all activities.

Dentistry

This project’s goal is to redesign learning material to apply active learning modules such as through immersive interactive technology, case studies and simulation-based activities.

Applied Science

This project seeks to balance our program’s need to meet certain accreditation requirements, with a need to make the Inclusive Design Project more approachable and impactful for students.

Pharmaceutical Sciences

This project aims to support students by reinforcing concepts through innovative educational opportunities that also promote engagement and enjoyment.

Science

The course redesign aims to increase students’ understanding of physical concepts and sharpen problem-solving skills; increase participation; and to apply students’ skills to current issues and to pursue career opportunities in a STEM field.

Arts

This project offers a suitable framework to redesign course offerings, focusing on the cultural texts (including literature and film) that form the basis of our work.

Science

This project helps to create video materials that will present a diverse range of students, showing their expertise in solving difficult questions, and demonstrating that being tenacious pays off.

Science

This project hopes to see the course become more equitable across this wide range of previous coding experience—with respect to workload and opportunities for success in the course—while also being highly engaging to learners across this diversity of previous experience.
